I recently visited my daughter in New York City where she attends college. She is my most observant child and eats only kosher food. Fortunately, New York has many kosher restaurants and even a kosher Subway! Wow! A kosher Subway! Since we wanted something quick, we decided to go there.
When we arrived, I walked up to the counter and asked for a $5.00 footlong. The kid at the counter said: "At this store, our footlongs are only six inches and they cost eight bucks.
